The Senior Phase Pathways Evening took place on Tuesday, 7th February 2017 from 5.30-7.30pm at Mackie Academy. An information booklet provides an oversight to the curriculum provision here at Mackie Academy and our partners in the Senior Phase on the evening and can be accessed here.
The information on this page is intended for reference purposes alongside information that students and parents will collect from the Senior Phase Evening. Course outlines are there to give an overview of the course on offer. Our curriculum plans for 2017-18 will be published in due course and will focus on progression pathways for pupils in these areas in line with our “Developing the Young Workforce” practice.
It is vitally important that both pupils and parents are aware of the changes made to National 5 courses for 2017-18 in terms of how they will be assessed. Information related to this can be found in the document below and all course outlines for Mackie Academy at National 5 once the relevant information is available from the Scottish Qualifications Authority (likely to be April 2017).
This year we are also offering courses in conjunction with Dundee and Angus College and North East Scotland College which will be taught at Mackie Academy. In addition to this a broad range of courses that pupils can access at North East Scotland College (NESCol) in Aberdeen are on offer. Further information on the provision can be accessed here and course outlines are listed below.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE COURSE OUTLINES FOR NATIONAL 5 DO NOT REFLECT THE CHANGES PUBLISHED SO FAR. PLEASE REFERENCE THE DOCUMENT ABOVE FOR THESE UPDATES.
