The role of the Parent Council is to identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the Academy and other matters affecting the education and welfare of pupils. The Parent Council aims to promote partnership between the Academy, its pupils and all its parents. Information outlining the purpose of a Parent Council and its members is available below:

The Parent Council AGM took place on Tuesday, 6th September 2016 where the chair and vice chair are elected along with new parent council members. For 2016-17 the Chair of the Parent Council is Mrs Jacqui Hutchison and the Vice-Chair is Dr. Rachel Shanks.

All meetings take place in G3 at 7pm and finish by 9pm at the latest.
